Associate Development Plan

 

An associate practice is a big responsibility, which should be entered into with commitment and a plan for the development of the associate (and yourself). This requires several elements including informational resources, delivery mechanisms, timing for layering and of course the time to implement. Associates that are within several years of their graduation, with a few exceptions haven’t been prepared very well for the realities of practice so it is important to adopt a graduated series of steps to the associate’s development.

 

 

As with any journey it is important to keep the end in mind at all times. You, as a principle have the honour and privilege of facilitating this person to making the shift from a low level of chiropractic awareness and skill to a high level where they can make an impact upon the world whether they stay with your practice or venture out on their own.

 

Whilst all associates are different in terms of their current energy, information, skills and abilities we suggest that you design a training program for them that touches all the bases along the way as there may be some which have slipped beneath their radar and they will need help with.
